The Raffia Restaurant, named after the gigantic indigenous Raffia Palm, is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The setting of the elevated sundeck amongst the tropical trees overlooking a wetland and the lagoon is breathtaking.

There is an extensive a la carte menu and fresh fish and local curry are our specialty. People have been known to drive fifty kilometers for these. An appetising selection of other local and international specialties are on offer including Coconut Prawn Curry, Oystercatcher Steaks, Strandloper Chowder.

If you're the breakfast type or just want to get going early on a full tummy, then call us beforehand - all breakfasts must be pre-booked. We'll do what we can.

At the Raffia Restaurant you don't have to be an expert to enjoy our beautiful birds. They lend their colourful names to dishes such as the Spoonbill, Firefinch and Honeyguide.
